While many wooden watches that are currently in the market feature chunky wooden links, the pieces in the “Carpenter Collection” created by designer Lorenzo Buffa of Analog Watch Co. come with a sleek, minimalist design and flexible straps.
Inspired by the mountainous area where he grew up in, the Philadelphia-based designer decided to make an everyday product that would remind him of that natural environment.
After a year of working on an all-natural, flexible wooden watch, he has recently put up the final designs—available in four wood and color combinations—on Kickstarter for crowd-funding.
Within a few days, the campaign has exceeded its initial goal of US$10,000—you can still pledge for the project and receive one of these beautiful wooden watches in February 2014.
