Nike’s Famous Logo Brilliantly Redesigned To Read As ‘NYC’

Nike’s logo and its accompany “Just Do It” tagline is one of the most well-known in the world—changing anything about this iconic branding could be met with outrage.

Design studio Triboro has recently pulled off an ingenious redesign of this famous logo for Nike NYC—by omitting certain parts of the word “Nike”, it brilliantly deconstructed the brand’s name into the letters “N”, “Y” and “C”.

Presented with the swoosh, this new logo is still very much recognizable as that of the sportswear giant—only now, it is intractably linked to New York City.

The new logo has been spotted quite a bit in the Big Apple, from print advertisements to basketball courts—this innovative redesign shows that a simple but creative idea can certainly go a long way.
