US-based Rachael Garcia, owner of Etsy shop TheCurious13, sells chess sets with taxidermied mice as its chess pieces.
Made to order and one of the most unique chess sets ever, the chess set features 32 real dead and stuffed mice in various sizes.
16 dark mice and light colored mice are dressed in outfits to become pawns, bishops, knights, rooks, kings and queens.
According to the Etsy listing: “All specimens were acquired from a captive breeding facility that distributes frozen rodents for reptile feeding, so don’t feel sad; if these little guys were not battling it out on the chess board, they would be deep in the belly of a snake.”
