Yesterday, Instagram announced ‘Instagram Direct’, a new sharing feature that lets you share your photos and videos privately with individuals and groups.
A new Inbox icon will appear in the top right hand corner of your feed, and clicking on it lets you see all the photos that have been shared with you. To share photos privately, choose ”Direct”, located next to “Followers”, enter the recipient’s name and a caption, and press send.
The new feature is available in the updated Instagram 5.0 app which can be downloaded from iTunes or Google Play.
