Los Angeles-based fashion illustrator and designer Connie Lim started the “Fashion Playing Cards” project years ago—recently, she decided to finally complete the deck.
Consisting of 54 gorgeous, fashion-inspired illustrations that Lim has drawn by hand, these cards mark the illustrator’s coming of age as an artist.
As Lim is particularly inspired by female features and forms, images of beautiful girls—elegant and ethereal in some cases, surrealist in others—feature heavily in this series.
In addition to the deck of playing cards—which will come in a lovely, custom-designed metal case—the illustrator is also offering her illustrations in the form of prints and tote bags as perks for her Kickstarter campaign.
