Japanese startup No New Folk Studio has recently launched an Indiegogo campaign for their awesome sneakers that not only light up in the dark, but also create beautiful light paintings as you move or break into a dance.
Called ‘Orphe’, the soles of the “smart” sneakers are fitted with motion sensors and 100 LED lights, which can each be controlled and customized by the user via an accompanying app.
Designed with artists and performers in mind, the creators behind these Orphe shoes hope that users will be inspired to create and share their unique light patterns and paintings with others online.
