If you are familiar with the Star Wars R2-D2 droid, meet his lesser known R2-Q5 counterpart, the astromech droid that worked for the Galactic Empire, which first appeared on Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
Japanese company Electronics brand imp. has released a limited edition ‘R2-Q5 Virtual Keyboard’, which projects a touchpad onto any flat surface, producing the original voice of R2-Q5 when in use.
It is compatible with iOS and Andriod mobile devices, as well as Windows 7/8 and Mac OS X—it is slated to launch on “Star Wars Day”, 4 May 2015, retailing at approximately USD$325.
