Dulux has followed up its Prohibition-inspired ad from last year with a dystopian spot that brings to mind a science fiction-esque Pleasantville.

Created by BBH London, the ad is set in a futuristic universe where color is banned. It follows a young man who encounters a “color rebel”, and discovers a secret underground world bursting with vibrant hues.

At the end, a link pops up directing viewers to the Dulux website where they can explore an interactive version of the ad, and learn more about paint colors.

Watch the dull, all-white metropolis come to life in the ad below, and check out a making-of video after.
