I’m sure most people have heard of Creative Commons or have at least seen the double CC icon before. Today’s infographic, prepared by Foter.com explains what you never knew about CC licenses.
To put it simply, Creative Common licenses are copyright licenses that provide a simple and standardized way for you to easily share your creative work with the public.
The important thing to know is that CC licenses does not replace copyright. It works alongside copyright and enables you to change the terms to best suit what you need.
