Remember ‘the dress’ that drove everyone nuts about two weeks ago? Well, it’s back—this time in the form of a powerful domestic violence ad by Salvation Army South Africa.
The ad features a woman covered in bruises, wearing the white and gold version of the dress—with the headline reading, “Why is it so hard to see black and blue?”
Beneath it, in smaller text, says: “The only illusion is if you think it was her choice. One in 6 women are victims of abuse. Stop abuse against women.”
