Whimsical, Dreamy Yet Intense Portraits Of Girls Paired With Strange Creatures





Inspired by the American pop surrealist movement, Poland-based designer Ania Tomicka creates innocent yet unsettling illustrations of girls.



Her favorite technique is using oil colors to create these beautifully illustrated portraits. The characteristic intense gaze of her painted girls make you feel like her characters are looking directly back at you.



Tomicka cites Salvador Dali and Wojtek Siudmak's absurd and strange creations as her inspiration for her work. Likewise, she creates strange pairings for her characters,
