State flags are often seen at state borders, flown over capitol buildings or integrated into college and professional sports teams.
In a bid to overhaul the outdated designs of state flags, design agency NJI Media has undertaken a project that redesigns state flags for the 21st century. Although they are not the first people to attempt this, their resulting project is definitely eye catching.
Their project titled ‘United We Brand’ features the collection of 50 minimalistic and smartly designed state flags which incorporate symbols and icons specific to each state. The designs are also available for download on the website.
