Photographer Ryan Deboodt has managed to successfully capture some stunning footage of Hang Son Doong (or Mountain River Cave) the largest known cave in the world.

The cave is located in Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park, Bố Trạch District, Quảng Bình Province, Vietnam.

To capture the cave in all its majesty, Deboodt attached a GoPro HERO4 Black to a drone, as well as used his Canon 6D and 16-35mm lens and a DJI Phantom 2 (for on the ground shots).

The images manage to bring out the “otherworldly” side to the cave, bringing out how enormous the cave is. With the largest chamber in the cave being more than 3.1 miles long, 660 feet high, and 490 feet wide, capturing the entire cave was definitely a challenging job.
