‘The Impossible Project’ Unveils New Round Frame Polaroid Color Instant Film

The Impossible Project has unveiled new round frame color instant film for Polaroid, a deviation from the standard square frames.

Designed for classic Polaroid 600 and SX-70 cameras, they come in black and white frame editions.

The film pays tribute to “the simplicity of pinhole photography” while its circular design evokes “vignette portraiture” of the past, making it ideal for “intimate, artistic use”, according to The Impossible Project.

The company plans to sell the new round frame film alongside classic square frame film.

A pack of eight exposures retails at US$25, and you can purchase it here.
