Amazon.com Unveils Plans For ‘Giant Spherical Greenhouse’ As New HQ

Online retail giant Amazon has unveiled plans to build a giant spherical greenhouse as its new headquarters—a plant-rich environment for its staff to work.

The gargantuan biosphere building will house mature trees, and is slated to be constructed near the company’s planned skyscraper office in downtown Seattle.

According to Scribd, the building will be a place employees can work and socialize in a “more natural, park like setting” to increase productivity.

There would be dining, meeting, lounge and botanical spaces, and shops that the public can also access.

What do you think of Amazon’s new HQ? Would you like to work in a place like that?
