As we live in an ableist society, Pro Infirmis, a disability advocacy organisation in Switzerland, has done its part to help us acknowledge and celebrate the bodies of people with disabilities in this heartwarming campaign.

Called “Because Who Is Perfect?”, this campaign, which was developed Jung von Matt/Limmat, Zurich, had public figures with disabilities posing for photographs so that a mannequin could be modeled in each person’s image.

The final mannequin was unveiled to the model, with many feeling happy that there was finally a mannequin to represent their body type.

After which, these mannequins were seen wearing the clothes in the country’s stores, like WE Fashion, modissa, and PKZ.

It certainly is heartening to see people who have different body types be represented as all bodies are beautiful and special.

Watch how this clever campaign was executed below.
