American-Korean artist CYJO started a photography project to capture families of mixed heritage and culture.
Focusing on families based in New York and Beijing, ‘Mixed Blood’ aims to dispel traditional notions of race and ethnicity and concentrate on showing the beauty of cross-cultural connections.
CYJO also documented the pictures with texts that narrates the family’s story such as their relationships within the house, ancestries and individual cultures.
