Lithuanian designer Ignas Survila wanted to turn “hurrying into a pleasant and useful process”—so he created the Pigeon Kickscooter, a redesign of the playful vehicle that comes in a bright, eye-catching neon orange.
As the conventional model of kick scooters “has not been made to perfection”, the designer decide to improve it by eliminating its shortcomings—the result is a elegantly simple, lighter version that is also more comfortable to carry around when not in use.
The Pigeon can be folded in half to become more compact with a single push of the foot—it is hoped that all these enhancements would make people look at the kick scooter in a different, more positive light.
