LA-based artist Tristan Eaton has created a collection of vibrant spray painted murals.
His recent artwork for Versace during the Pow!Wow!Hawaii festival features the iconic “Medusa logo” with a “psychedelic rendition” fused with the artist's trademark pop culture detailing, on a wall of the new Versace store in Ala Moana Center—it took 200 spray cans to complete the painting.
The artist's works can be easily recognized by eye-catching combination of pop culture, vibrant graphic patterns and comics inspiration that looks like a large-scale collage piece—his other works include a “sci-fi anime inspired mural”, and a painting “in honor of Alexander Bell on a former telephone company building”.
