Architect and curator John Stoughton has released a series of photographs where he incorporated emojis into famous cityscapes with humorous effects for his upcoming show Back-2-School Emoji Show.
Stoughton took inspiration from the Instamoji app where users can easily insert any emoji into a photo and used Photoshop to create his own series.
For example, a geotag emoji now represents the famous Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai while an emoji resembling the Eiffel Tower stands in place of the iconic Parisian landmark.
