Produced by Bruce Mau Design in 1998, the Incomplete Manifesto for Growth is a thought-provoking list of design rules and tips that has guided the multi-disciplinary design firm’s approach to its projects ever since.
Welsh animation student Timbo, who is also the creator of the Ommy’Noms YouTube channel, has created a fun animation that highlights a selection of the 43 strategies drawn out in the Incomplete Manifesto, which is titled “A Little Bit of the Incomplete Manifesto for Growth”.
Featuring a cute character acting out the various entries in the manifesto, Timbo has chosen to bring to life unconventional pieces of design advice like “Don’t be cool”, “Laugh” and “Love your experiments (as you would an ugly child)”.
