Thierry Brunfaut of Base Design has added a second series of 20 posters to his project “5-Minute Posters”—the first batch of posters was made about one and a half years ago.
Featuring “quick and punchy” pieces of design advice, this new series uses a bespoke typeface created by Base, named Basetica, which combines elements of the most popular san-serif typefaces—Futura, Arial, Helvetica, Grotesk and Century Gothic.
Allowing himself just 300 seconds to complete each poster, Brunfaut’s latest posters dishes out both timeless tips—“The best design trend is not to follow one.” and quips that relate to our current fixation with social media, such as “Twigram. Instabook. Facetter.”.
