To prove that “sexy curves go beyond a size four”, plus-size swimwear company Swimsuits For All recreated the cover of this year’s Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue with plus-size models.
The cover was part of a calendar photoshoot, which included models Robyn Lawley, Jada Sezer, Shareefa J, as well as plus-size fashion blogger Gabi Gregg.
Gregg said she took part because she wanted to promote more positive body images, a view echoed by Sezer.
“I think there needs to be more publications and campaigns so that people can say, wow, I look like these women, and they look comfortable and sexy and they’re portraying my body type,” said Sezer.
The calendar was shot in Turks and Caicos, and you can download it for free from the Swimsuits For All website.
