Ever wondered how Disney films would turn out if its princesses were not all coated in the fairytale veil of sugar, spice and feel-good happily-ever-afters?
Former DreamWorks animator Jason Porath has illustrated a weekly series of ‘Rejected Princesses’–“women too awesome, awful or offbeat for the movies”.
Ladies of historical or mythical origins were given their own rendition of movie posters fame, supplemented with short background stories and bite-sized pieces of facts or details.
