Airbnb, which is now operating in 190 countries, has just unveiled a branding overhaul that includes a new logo and a redesigned website, so as to project a stronger global identity.
The new logo has been dubbed “Belo” by the company, and looks like a playful inverted heart—according to a Fast Company interview with Brian Chesky, the CEO of Airbnb, the logo is meant to be an abstraction that combines elements of a heart, a house and a location pin, and designed to resemble the letter “A”.
