Antony Gibbon Designs’ latest project is a development of a versatile and portable rustic cabin.
Inspired by the shape of a tipi, the conical cabin is made up of slatted wood panels that are fix onto the main structure with glass doors and windows. Its angled structure also ensures that rain will drip off the cabin.
Called ‘The Nook’, the spacious structure can accommodate a few people at one time; there is even a larger version available that has an extra floor.
The gorgeous and versatile cabin can be used as a home studio, retreat, office or even as a raft-type structure. According to the designer, this is made possible because of “recycled containers which are hidden underneath”.
