Portuguese freelance designer Filipe Carvalho, who is also a Star Wars fan, has created a series of strikingly colorful yet minimalist graphic icons of well-known characters from the cult film franchise.
Applying the currently popular flat design aesthetic to this project, Carvalho has depicted characters like Yoda, Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker with bold lines and simple color blocks.
Juxtapose against bright backgrounds of contrasting hues, these icons appear even more eye-catching.
