Brooklyn-based photographer Rob MacInnis gives familiar family portraits a twist by capturing endearing family-style portraits of farm animals.
In his series ‘The Farm Family’, sheep, goats, cows and pigs are meticulously lined up to face the camera, surrounded by bales of hay and huddled in barns and doorways.
There is a comical, almost heartbreaking feel about the photographs—one detects a hint of curiosity and anxiety in the faces of the animals as they stare ahead.
