The Dazzling Symmetry Of NYC Captured Through Reflections Of Its Skyscrapers

Photographer Donna Dotan’s fledgling ‘Reflections From Above’ series captures the dazzling symmetry of New York City through the reflections of its skyscrapers.

Dotan, who specializes in architecture photography, takes the photographs by sticking her hand out the windows of buildings.

It all started when she was intrigued by a scene outside the window of an apartment she was shooting, that was for sale at the Mandarin Oriental in Time Warner Center.

“I’d always thought that New York City had already been photographed from every point of view. But the beauty of photography is that there’s always a new perspective to be discovered,” she said in an interview with Wonderful Machine.

Check out her photographs below.
