Beautiful Ice-Made Stonehenge Sculpture Built On A Frozen Lake

Five friends in Lake Mills Wisconsin recently came together to build a gorgeous structure they call "Rock Lake Icehenge".

The plan was formed four years prior, when Drew McHenry, Kevin Lehner, Quinn Williams, Alec Seamars and Patrick Shield found old ice cutting equipment and planned to experiment with it.

The five attempted to make "Icehenge" last year but the weather conditions were not favorable. But they built it this year in two weekends, with each pillar weighing 300 lb and each top block weighing 200 lb.

The picturesque scene has unfortunately been taken down due to warm temperatures and safety reasons, according to photographer Eli Wedel.
