Grown Brothers Get Together To Recreate Childhood Photos As Gift To Mother

Inspired by others who have recreated their childhood photos as an anniversary gift for their parents or as a Christmas present, three Pennsylvania brothers decided to do the same for their mother.

Matt MacMillan, the eldest brother, said his mother had requested for calendars as gifts in the past, so they decided to inject some fun into her personalized gift.

The amusing photos feature the siblings in wacky scenarios like squeezing into a rocking chair and bathtub, and they even roped in their dad in some shots.

“We took off work and school for a day, so we could take the pictures without our mom knowing. We must have taken about 20 pictures of each scene trying to get the perfect facial expressions and poses,” said MacMillan.

The photos went viral after MacMillan posted them on Reddit and Imgur.

He told ABC News, “We think it’s odd that two million people have seen the three of us in a bathtub as fully grown men.”

Nevertheless, it’s worth it as Mrs MacMillan loves the calendar—she would send him weekly texts of how she found something new in the photos that were previously unnoticed.
