IKEA Creates A Special Emoticon Dictionary For Its Products

IKEA has created a dictionary of emoticons specially for its products, making the Swedish furniture brand the first major company to propose such a thing.



In a funny announcement, IKEA explained that it came up with the emoticons to prevent misunderstandings in the household.



The icons include those of its shelves, storefront and its meatballs.



More a quirky novelty than a serious form of communication, it nevertheless paves the way for other brands to introduce their own emoticons.
