In Shocking Ad, Tanning Customers Are Greeted With Their Own Funerals

To show how tanning literally kills, New York-based agency Area 23 created a shocking and eye-opening ad for melanoma awareness organization Mollie’s Fund.



In the ad, customers who signed up for a free tanning session were greeted with their own funerals mourning their ‘deaths’, not unlike this road safety campaign.



According to statistics, just one indoor tanning session increases the risk of melanoma, a kind of skin cancer, by 20%.
