Meet The Calligrapher Who Created Stunning Artworks For ‘Lord Of The Rings’





Meet Daniel Reeve, the New Zealand-based artist who wrote those beautiful calligraphy for The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films.



When Reeve heard that Peter Jackson was going to make a movie out of his favorite book, he decided to send him sample pieces of his Elvish calligraphy, and was hire immediately to produce works for the franchise.



Apart from his impeccable calligraphy and lettering skills, his works of art includes creating maps of the Middle-earth, tengwar lettered trading cards, and illustrations used on the merchandises of the films.
