New Textile Printer Prints Lovely Patterns Directly Onto Large Pieces Of Fabric

Here is a piece of good news for print-loving fashion designers—Epson has introduced a new printer that aims to make fabric equipment cheaper to own and use.

Recently launched at Fall 2015 New York Fashion Week, Epson's new SureColor F7170 is a new dye sublimation printer that allows high quality, industrial level print.

The printing mechanism can print on surfaces up to 63” wide, and has the capability to print extended lengths of fabric at one go. The only downside is that the printer only works on heat-reactive synthetic materials like polyester.
