Oregon-based artist
Eric Franklin works with glass tubes and neon gas to create amazing glowing sculptures of skulls and skeletons.
Each sculpture can take up to 80 hours to create. Once he forms their shape, he pumps neon gas through the glass tubes—with each “curve and ripple of the glass impacting how the light flows within”.
“These pieces describe and define the dynamics and interconnection of everything that makes us human — from our bones to our psyche,” said Franklin on
Instagram, describing his works.
