This video shows you how intricate, custom designs are made into tiny hard candy.

Filmed by La Confiserie CandyLabs in Montreal, the video shows colored and flavored strips of heated sugar are rolled and compressed into a long log shape. The designs determine the layers and colors of the candy, and the log-like shape is then stretched thin to be cut into tiny pieces of hard candy.

According to the video, the entire process takes three hours, with the maker and the candy constantly moving to ensure the candy stays in the correct shape.
