A French photographer named Charles Pétillon created ‘Invasion’, a series of photographs that show white balloon-like balls bursting out of ‘cracks’ in spaces, neighborhoods and natural landscapes.

Each photo in the series is a metaphor for something. Together, the work wants to change our perception of the ordinary sceneries we encounter, changing the emotional sensation one derives from it.

‘Invasion’ will be exhibited at Maison Européene de la Photographie in Paris from February 20, 2015, until March 22, 2015.
