Playful Monochromatic Characters Interact With Objects On The Streets Of Paris

French street artist Charles Leval—who works under the name of Levalet—previously featured for his amusing paste-on street art characters, is back with a new collection of work.

Planting the streets with his trademark life-sized monochromatic figures, he takes on Paris with his characters cheekily interacting with objects found across the city.

Levalet told Instagram, “first I spot a location, then I take some measurements and make a note of any other details about the place,” before planning on the types of scenario he wishes to portray—his characters are drawn based on photos of people he got to pose for each of these scenarios.

Head over to his Instagram account to see more of his works.
