HAPILABS has unveiled a ‘smart fork’ that helps you lose weight.
Designed by Jacques Lépine, the ‘HAPIfork’ has sensors that detect how fast you’re eating.
It measures: the duration you take to eat, the duration between each mouthful, and the number of mouthfuls you take.
It collects these data and gives you feedback via an online or a mobile tracking app.
When the fork thinks you’re eating too fast, it’ll also vibrate to let you know to slow down.
The USB-version is retailing at US$99; the wireless version will be available in 2014.
