San Francisco-based illustrator Helen Tseng has designed a charming infographic for The Bold Italic that teaches people proper escalator etiquette.
Simply titled ‘How To Ride An Escalator’, the don’ts of riding an escalator include: standing next to a friend, blocking traffic; taking a bike on the escalator; blocking foot tracking with bags; smearing ‘gross shit’ (literally and figuratively) on railings; sliding down the railings; taking a dump on the escalator; and stopping right at the bottom of it.
