Drawing since a very young age, Belgium-based artist Christiane Vleugels has mastered her craft in order to produce these extremely lifelike oil paintings of people.
Using a blend of light and shadow, Vleugels’ paintings are so intricately detailed that they look like actual photos.
Describing her hyper realistic oil paintings, the artist said, “The sole purpose of my work is to tempt people to dream.”
“There is nothing I love more than to move my audience to ecstasy by allowing them a peek into my fantasy.”
