Colored Blueprints For Movies

Spotmaps’ is an ongoing project by Andy Willis, in which he creates colored blueprints of various movies.

The colored squares or ‘spot’ represents the average color from one second of the movie—while each row of spots represents one minute of the movie.

The length of the image represents how long the film is.
