Faber-Castell Reimagines Its Colored Pencils As Animals, Food, Vehicles





To show how closely its pencil colors match real things, German office supplies company Faber-Castell has launched a series of posters that reimagines its colored pencils as the objects that inspired them.



Taking a clever literal approach, these ads—produced by advertising agency Serviceplan—digitally merge the colored pencils with animals, food and even vehicles.



For instance, a bright, fiery red pencil tip is paired with the body of a fire engine—needless to say, the pencil shade and color of the fire-fighting vehicle match perfectly.
