Facebook has just launched “Graph Search”, a new feature on the social media site that will make going through its massive amount of people, pictures and connections much easier for users.

According to Mark Zuckerberg, Graph Search is “not web search”—while web search is intended for general queries, Graph Search is designed for specific queries that will bring up equally specific content.

The new feature uses a filter system that allows searchers to sort their queries by Facebook-relevant categories like relationship, interests and locations.

In the introduction video for Graph Search, Facebook encourages users to use it to look for like-minded friends—for instance, “friends who like road trips”.

What Facebook neglects to mention is that this new feature will probably result in more effective cyber-stalking.
