Moscow-based Russian artist Nikolai Aldunin creates amazing microscopic sculptures, which are so tiny that a microscope is required to view them.
In order to keep his hands perfectly still while putting together these miniscule pieces, the artist can only work between the beats of his heart.
Using tools like syringes, toothpicks and a 28-year-old microscope, Aldunin has produced a series of wonderful miniature artworks—including a fascinating piece that features seven camels and three palm trees, all neatly lined up in the eye of a needle.
One of the key challenges that the artist faces, when crafting these extremely small sculptures, must be to make sure that he does not misplace them.
