Man Spends Over $22,500 On 24K Gold Shirt, To Impress Ladies

Money can’t buy love or happiness, but it can buy you a solid gold shirt to attract attention, if you have enough.

Datta Phuge, a wealthy 32-year-old Indian man and moneylender from Pimpri-Chinchwad, Maharashtra, India, splurged £14,000 (about US$22,500) for a 24K gold shirt to get the attention of females.

The shirt took 15 goldsmiths 16 hours-a-day for two weeks to create, by weaving gold threads.

According to the Daily Mail, the gold shirt was “assembled on a fabric base of imported white velvet, and comes with six Swarovski crystal buttons and an intricate belt, also made of gold.”

On top of that, it comes with its own set of matching cuffs, and rings—crafted from leftover gold.

“I know I am not the best looking man in the world, but surely no woman could fail to be dazzled by this shirt?” Phuge told Indian newspaper, Pune Mirror.

“The gold shirt has been one of my dreams. It will be an embellishment to my reputation as the ‘Gold man of Pimpri’.”

Ladies, are you attracted to the gold shirt or the man in it?
