Design studio Bernhard | Burkhard has helped OYO in creating a new iPhone speaker that is shaped like a karaoke microphone and yet functions as a quality speaker.
Called ‘Ballo’, this playful looking speaker is a polycarbonate product which requires only few pieces for an easy assembly.
“Unencumbered by staid right angles, Ballo can be handled in a way that totally works with the comfortable, casual way we’ve come to fondle our phones, and there’s no need for a stand, or a formal, flat locale to set it up,” said Thomas Burkard.
The aim for Bernhard | Burkard is to try to keep things as simple as possible, hence the clean design of Ballo.
There are also colorful bands that unite the two hemispheres together, just in case you feel like you need to pump up the extra volume.
