Indonesian photographer and skillful Photoshopper Agan Harahap—who previously inserted superheroes into old war photographs—has created a new collection of surreal images that shows what happens when wild animals are released into a supermarket.
Incredible and amusing at the same time, the 'Garden Fresh' series depicts the various animals in sections of the supermarket that they are likely to gravitate towards, if they were really allowed to browse the aisles.
“Garden Fresh series investigates the shifting boundaries between humans and animals in today’s environment and the complex relationship between art and nature. It is like a fable about a journey undertaken by the animals when they venture into our daily lives. The animals are confronted by a new reality that is in conflict with their natural habits and habitats.”
