Milan-based architectural firm Santambrogiomilano has created a breath-taking series of concept glass houses that is completely see-through—except for the ground level’s floor, these beautiful buildings are composed entirely of glass structural pieces.
Designed to be erected almost anywhere in the world, the architects have intended to do away with the visual barrier between the indoors and outdoors, so as to immerse the inhabitant completely in the surrounding natural environment.
Each glass house in the series reflects its setting in its design—for instance, the “Cliff House”, which is located next to the sea, is suspended over a bed of water.
When privacy is desired, the glass panels turn matte at a touch of a button.
